In order to protect the health of customers and employees, and as per instruction by the federal government to self-isolate, Genesis Aviation is directing all passengers and flight crew on a Genesis Aviation Chartered Aircraft to voluntarily remove themselves from any flights if they:
- have been on a cruise ship in the last 14 days;
- have travelled internationally in the last 14 days
- are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms, such as coughing, fever, aches and chills.
All passengers will need to fill out and sign a Genesis Aviation COVID-19 questionnaire, in compliance with Transport Canada regulations, prior to flying with Genesis Aviation.
As per Calgary’s new mandate, all passengers will need to wear a mask in departure facilities, on enplaning and deplaning, and during any interactions with flight crew on every flight with Genesis Aviation.
In order to prevent the spread of the virus, Genesis Aviation is asking all passengers to practise the following personal hygiene measures:
- avoid coughing or sneezing into your hand (use a tissue or inside of arm);
- avoid touching your eyes, nose & mouth with unwashed hands;
- wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
As a preventative measure, Genesis Aviation has required statements, COVID-19 response letters, and/or releases of the increased safety measures of each Aircraft Operator and Facility Management that our passengers will be utilizing in their travel with us. All our partners have reported an increased vigilance in proper sanitization of aircraft and facilities that aligns with Genesis Health and Safety Policy.
Genesis Aviation also performs regular cleaning and sanitizing processes of our facility. In addition, we have acquired a commercial product that is being used to wipe down handles, flat surfaces and bathrooms between flights utilizing our lounge.
Genesis Aviation appreciates everyone’s cooperation and realizes it takes the efforts of all to provide and maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
